Hello every one, my name is Kevin C. Thayer. I am making a run for the gubernatorial race is the state of Michigan for the 2010 election.
I do not associate my self with any party in fact I am trying to put an end to the “party” in politics. I do share your conservative views, but I am tired of the bickering, finer pointing, and never achieving any thing that goes on in our government. I for one have had enough. I watch these people live in lavish life style which I provide while I live paycheck to paycheck.
I vow to cut the governors salary by half, stay in my own home here in Holland Michigan, commute in the car that I currently drive, paying for the gas out of the salary that I will receive. I am not wealthy by any body standards (not even the dems, lol) at 50K gross last year, and reside in a very modest home. I plan to rent out both mansions, and put the money back into the state budget.
I hope to be a write in candidate but still win the election, as I have started way early. My only means of getting my word out is by the internet, myspace.com/michigansnextgovernor, and attending public events that are close enough for me to go to.
I will not take money from lobbyist, and when I get to Lansing the lobby will be closed to these people. I make about 10 bumper stickers a month on my home computer, and some silicone sealant. Kind of a do it your selfer.
My grammar is horrible, and I know this. However I feel the message is more important then the delivery.
So if you live in Michigan, and you too think the “party’ system is broken, then please come visit my site.
Thank you, Kevin c. Thayer
